In this post I will be sharing some of the things that I have been loving in May. I might make this a series type thing, by posting about my favorites every month.
Rimmel 25 hr Lasting Finish Foundation
I recently switched up my foundation by going from the Yardley Whipped Matte Mousse foundation to the Rimmel 25hr Lasting Finish Foundation and I’ve got to say it feels good to be using a liquid foundation again. I love the Rimmel foundation, because it gives great coverage, doesn’t feel too cakey on my skin, applies easily and basically lasts for as long as I need it to.
Revlon Matte Balm in the shade Fierce Redoutable
It has a minty smell, which I absolutely love, because it kind of reminds me of the Cadbury mint chocolate, which is also a favorite of mine. I love the color as well, I don’t usually go for brown lipsticks, but this one might make me rethink the whole not using brown lipstick thing, plus I’m excited to do some winter makeup looks with it, seeing that we’re in my not so favorite season.
NK lipstick in the shade Burgundy Tint
This lipstick has super cheap packaging, but don’t let that put you off. I was actually pleasantly surprised. As you can probably tell already, I love using stuff that have a good smell to them and this one definitely falls into that category. I love the colour, the pigmentation and the fact that it is infused with vitamin E, which is definitely a bonus for the winter months. I am definitely going to be creating a lot of makeup looks with this lipstick.
- Aunt Jackie’s “Knot on my watch” Instant Detangling Therapy
I can’t tell you guys how much I LOVE this product!! It is said to soften the hair, help restore moisture balance and eliminate knots and tangles and it does exactly that. The best part about it: It smells absolutely amazing. I will definitely be purchasing more products in the “Aunt Jackie range”
- TRESemmé Keratin Deep Treatment Masque
Another hair product that I have been loving is the TRESemmé Treatment Masque. It makes my hair feel super soft, which makes it more manageable and helps with the detangling process, as I put on some of this stuff right before I start detangling with the Aunt Jackie’s Detangling Therapy.
