For this festive season I thought I would share 3 different Holiday Looks with you guys. For this first look I decided to venture away from the traditional Holiday Look and created this Smokey makeup look. I definitely think this would look great with a dark grey or purple outfit, as it would complement the colors used to create the eye look and I know these are not typical holiday outfit colors, but I honestly think you can wear whatever the hell you want during the festive period.
For this look I mostly used the SMOKY Palette and also the LA Girl Nudes Palette.
I usually start with my eye makeup first, therefore the first part will consist of the eye makeup look and the second part will cover the full face makeup.
The Eye Makeup
I started off by filling in my eyebrows with the Catrice Eye Brow Stylist Pencil in the shade Date with Ash-ton.
I then applied the LA Girl Concealer all over my eyelid to prep my eyes and then set the concealer with a nude shade from the SMOKY Palette.
I started off by applying this purple shade from the SMOKY palette all over my eyelid and extended it beyond the crease area.
I then took this pinkish brown shade from the LA Girl Nudes Palette and applied this into the crease area.
Next, I went in with this black color from the SMOKY Palette and applied very little of it to the crease area as well, just to darken the look even more.
I then went in with this matte grey color also from the SMOKY Palette and applied this on the center of my eyelid.
Next, I went in with this shimmery silver color from the SMOKY Palette and placed this over the matte grey color.
I felt that the eye shadow needed a bit more shimmer, which is why I added this blue shimmery color from the ELF Little Black Beauty Book (Warm Edition) Palette, also on the center of my eyelid.
I then applied the Essence Volume Stylist Curl and Hold Mascara to my top lashes.
After I finished my face makeup, I went back to my eyes and just put a bit of the black shade under my lash line and applied the Essence Lash Princess Mascara to my bottom lashes as well.
The Face Makeup
I started off by priming my face with the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser.
I then applied my foundation and used the Rimmel 25 HR Lasting Finish Foundation in the shade Medium Beige.
I then went in with my concealer and used the LA Girl Pro Concealer in the shade Creamy Beige.
To set my foundation I used the Yardley Absolute Translucent Loose Powder.
I then did my contour with the Absolute New York Pro Contour Palette and used the same Palette to highlight my face.
For blush I used the Jordana Blush Powder in the shade Rose Silk.
On my lips I used three different colors; in the first look I used the Avon Color Trend Lip Gloss in the shade Pucker. In the second look I used the Avon Color Trend Lip Gloss in the shade Lovey Dovey and for the last look I used a purple Lip Gloss mixed with the Avon Lip Gloss in Pucker.
And that concludes this makeup look, but be on the lookout for the other two Holiday Looks I will be creating.
I really hope you enjoyed this post, if you do decide to try it out, feel free to tag me on Instagram…until next time!
